ERROR CODE:SIMM with TWO ROM ID'S

What could this mean?

That error means you have to upgrade your OS to the new version...

OS 1.23 on my proteus.I tryed everything but the error was the
same.Then i tryed it in any different slot.I tryed different ROM as
Beat Garden,Techno Synth.. and not problem but when i fitted XL in
it,here comes the error again.I suppose it is defected :(

I am presuming you mean you have a Proteus 2000, is that right ?

The latest OS for the Proteus 2000 is version 2.6.  You are way, way outdated...upgraded the OS !
