anyone seen these symptoms?

anyone seen these symptoms?

2006-04-09 by Chris Stack

My XL-7 has been rock solid until recently. It's starting to get a
little flakey and I'm curious if anyone else has had these symptoms.

A couple weeks ago it turned itself off a couple times at a gig.
Fortunately, not while I was playing. I wrote that off afterwards as
possibly a bad or loose power cable... until a few nights ago at a
rehearsal the when display started getting a bit dim and the XL-7
started resetting itself every couple minutes.

My guess is power supply problems. As soon as I get a spare minute I'm
going to open it up and re-seat all cables and boards. Still, if
anyone's seen this before, please let me know your experiences.
Fore-warned is fore-armed.

In case it is something non-trivial to fix... what's the current state
of the XL-7 repair industry?

Thanks in advance.

Bad/noisy power source (120VAC) can sometimes cause this......I wound up putting my XL-7 on UPS.....
