Rack Ears

Rack Ears

2006-02-15 by Chris Stack

I'm looking for rack ears for my XL-7. Anyone know if they are still available anywhere or does anyone have a pair they'd like to sell?

Thanks,

Chris

I'd like to get some rack ears for my command station.

Does anyone know where I could find them?

Or, have a pair they'd like to sell?

Thanks

Try

http://www.theavenuesinstruments.com/accessories.html

Not cheap but they seem to have them in stock...

Yikes! How bad do I really want them?

Thanks a lot, though.

I actually tried that website myself. They say that everything is in stock. But don't be fooled by this website. The contact number that they give you doesn't work. if I were you, I'd make sure that someone answers before you order. It will let you place an order online, but when I went to pay for it, they said that I didn't have enough money in my paypal account ( which I did.) instead it asked for a credit card number. That's when I became a bit skeptical. I tried calling the number, but it didn't work. I then tried to email them but that was 3 months ago. I still have not heard from them.

hmmm...

I haven't had that experience. I got a FLASH SIMM from them (OK, I admit I was desperate and paid the high price) and everything went smoothly... That was the only time I used the web service - I can't complain about it.

Right before I was about to hire a machinist to fabricate me some I broke down and bought them from theavenuesinstruments.com. They weren't cheap, but they were brand new and packaged very carefully, now my MP7 is looking good chillin in a mixer rack. I had no problems with them, they shipped in about a week. That was like 4 or 5 months ago.
