Looking for love? Here's my tip for ya...

2006-01-22 by barbi-elizabeth565@haveaniccedayy.com

Just thought I should pass on my knowledge to all you guys (and gals) on here. I know just like heaps of other men I am pretty shy when it comes to going up to someone. I've tried a few different places (clubs, bars, etc) but never seem to have too much luck. Anyway, a few weeks ago I joined up to http://www.browsepictureshere.info/iprh and I have to say I am already getting excited. I was beginning to think I'd end up being alone for ever, but already been talking to a few interested ladies on there. Anyway, if you're like me it comes highly recommended!

The only way to stop this kind of spam is to put new group members on
moderated status.
It's an option available to the group owner, but it requires the owner
to approve new members before they can post.

Recently I've been getting these messages on every group that is not
moderated.
Banning them after the fact does not help, the senders names are
randomly generated and keep changing.

I moderate about 15 gear related groups. Lately this crap has gotten into all of them after a good period where Yahoo seemed to have things under control.

Over the last few days I have changed all my accounts to "moderate new members" as before. It is a pain, but it is the only way.

I am not a moderator of this group however, so I can't help here.

In any event, the following lists are now properly moderated in this fashion by me:

control-freak
DSI-Evolver
FR-Revolution
MC-808
MC-909
MPC60
Notron
Quasimidi-The-Raven
Spectralis
Unitor8
WaldorfPulse
XL-1
XT
Mc505
