Have you try to load a different os?

In France some persons have the same pb after the power supply die.
If your xl-7 dont want to load an OS, it can be that the xl-7 bios is corrupt.
I dont know exactly how to fix this, but i think you can change or re-program the eprom with the xl7 bios. It's somethonk hard to find.

Is there anybody to confirm this...

Good luck.

So you can load succesfully the first os , but with a little bit probleme.
Is the xl-7 work fine with the 1.0 os?

What kind of pc do you use, maybe you have an usb problem , or cable problem.

Have you also try to remove and install e-loader?Is it the e-loader 1.1?

Yes i dont remember if the load operation work with usb...I supposed i have done this with the midi cable sold with the xl-7.

If you use this cable or an other midi cable it can be a cable problem or sound card problem.

I guess that if you can load the first os, you can load all other os.I ll be better that no error message appear when doing the operation.

Hi Bob, i'm using computer desktop, win xp, aadvark 24/96 for midi
converter and routing via midi in and out, because if I connect via usb
win xp could not recognize the device. Is there any solution?
