Hello everybody, I would like to change some switch, the little one how can mute on/off track on xl7. Is anybody know the reference of this part , or where to find the datasheet? I also have an asrx and i think it is the same part, is anybody can confirm me this? Thanks before. An happy user of e-mu synth and sampler.

Hi, sure there just tac switches. not 100% which one but have a look at these. http://tinyurl.com/8lmvs You can normally find one that will work fine if its the same height and pin spacing This is really cheap for a selection. Im sure he will post abroad. Good luck gonz --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "bbbigup" <bbbigup@y...> wrote: > Hello everybody, > > I would like to change some switch, the little one how can mute on/off > track on xl7. > > Is anybody know the reference of this part , or where to find the > datasheet? > > I also have an asrx and i think it is the same part, is anybody can > confirm me this? > > Thanks before. > > An happy user of e-mu synth and sampler.

Thanks for your answer gonz, but the top of the switches is a scare and full of swithes on the photo are circular shape or without shape , i don't know if they can work with the caps of the xl7.

The parts were designed to look like the ASR-X buttons, but they are a new design. I'm not sure they're interchangeable. In fact, I'd guess they're not, since the new ones have little legs that keep them from falling sideways. --- gonzinigonz <gonzini@...> wrote: > Hi, sure there just tac switches. not 100% which one but have a look > at these. > > http://tinyurl.com/8lmvs > > You can normally find one that will work fine if its the same height > and pin spacing > This is really cheap for a selection. Guess you will have to try emu for spares directly. they should be able yo give you the part No. if there feeling helpfull. l'll ask a friend who builds electronic products, he had a load of these as samples. maybe hes come across a supplier for these.
