Thanks, I am well aware of Windows media player being a Windows user of >10 years and a beta tester for XP.

Midi-OX has a midi file player with it I believe.  I know it will convert sysex dumps to playable midi files, so it stands to reason it would be able to play those files , as well.

 

When I was wrestling with the FIZMO OS update I had to play a midi file into it to send the sysex data.  So I know what the OP is talking about.

OK; I stand corrected--evidently midi-ox (and perhaps others) play 
midi files (incliding those with embedded sysex presets).

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
