MP7 default songs

MP7 default songs

Does anyone have the default songs that orginally come with the MP7? I went to the Emu site where they say they have a zipped file for patterns/songs, but when uncompressed the file only shows the patterns but no songs. I was hoping to reset a new MP7 and would like to see what songs they have for it. I of course will be creating my own songs but wanted to see what some of their programmers had created. I would appreciate the help.

Shane,

I appreciate your reply. I did not receive an e-loader disc with the MP-7. 
I have only been able to access what is on Emu's site.
Would anyone have those files from the E-loader disc?

In the files section of the group is one called "Command Station Data"  There's a bunch 
of .zip files with patterns/songs for the various roms.

I will send you you these files i found it in my old files in a cd. I think i had it with a card or with my xl7 i don't know but here are the files ( MP7 Songs ).

Hi, haven't you receive the files i send this morning? I don't know how work the yahoogroups and i don't have post these files in the Xl7 groups. I just send by answering and an e-mail. If you want these please mailling me i will send you the mp7 song files.

I will not deliver these files because of that: the MP7 patterns and songs can be downlaod directly from the yahoogroups files. It is more easy, isn't it.
Go to the xl7/mp7 groups and click to files , you will see a file that contain what you want. In fact i would like to put these files at this adress but when i see they were already post i don't. If it don't works recall me.

Piano / General Midi Sounds

Hi Guys,

I need an rom with good piano sounds, and other general midi sounds too 
(strings, sax, ep, flutes...).
I play on a pop/rock cover band, and I want to use my MP7 (with MOPHATT 
and TECHO roms) as a general midi sound module, and use my Nord Lead 3 
as a main synth/controller.

What (easy to find on ebay) rom can you sugest?

I\ufffdm from Brazil, and it is hard to find roms here, so I\ufffdm considering 
searching and buying one from ebay.

Greetings Luiz,

If you need actual General MIDI, the only GM bank in all of the E-mu  
ROMs is on the "Sounds of the ZR" ROM. This is the ROM from the  
Ensoniq Halo keyboard - a nice collection of "Ensoniq" type sounds,  
with the GM bank, "Perfect Piano" (a good, bright piano sound -  
perfect for pop/rock). This ROM is very uneven, though - for every  
great sound in the preset patches there is a real stinker. The  
underlying samples are good, though, so for your needs I'd recommend  
this one.

Another good ROM for "all around" type sounds is the Proteus Pop  
Collection - this is basically the ROM from the Proteus 2500. It  
covers most of the "bread and butter" sounds, but no actual GM bank.  
I personally like the piano samples on this ROM, but that's just my  
opinion. :D

I must tell that I use this rom on stage for the piano programs,
and it's much weaker than the rhodes or the synth sounds. Here
