Damn XL !!

Damn XL !!

2005-05-19 by José Sáez

Why, when in pattern mode, i decide that channel 04A should be assigned to EXT, it reverses to INT every time i turn the machine off and on again ?

I've tried saving the pattern and saving the multi, and it always goes back to INT.

HELP !

This will happen when there is no data on that track. You can put a
CC in there (volume, for example) as a place holder. Then save the
pattern.

I created a template for my setup (P2500) with external track
assignments and stored it at 000^0.

When you save a pattern, tracks without data lose the channel
assignment settings.

You must record data on a track for it to save settings. Try inserting
a innocuous message at tick 0, like pedal up or something.
