Note Velocity & Erase track

Note Velocity & Erase track

2002-02-05 by nate33a

Hi
Recently purchased an mp7 and i'm lovin it. I have have a couple
of questions though: Is there a way to set all notes on a track to
the same velocity? I know you can scale but sometimes, on a
bass for example, i just want all the notes being the same
velocity after recording it live on the touch pads.
And erasing a track. Do i always have to select just the track i
want to erase with the mute buttons and then try and remember
which ones i had turned on after ive erased? cant u just erase
the current track youre working on without erasing all the other
tracks that arent muted? that would be so much easier.

One more comment, id love an undo button! If im recording a fast
complicated rythm track in 2 or more runs im not gonna save in
between each run. Undo to last time out of record mode.

Thanks
Great to see the emu people listening to this board

On the SCALE/SHIFT screen, set scale to 0% and set shift to the value you
want.

Two ways. One way: Cut track, selecting the track you want to be deleted.
Second way: Erase All Events, enabling the track(s) you want to delete with
the LEDs.

Try recording on separate tracks. You can even increment the track while
still recording using the +/- buttons next to the LCD. Don't like the
track? Mute it temporarily and erase it when you're done recording.
