Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

hi

i appreciate anyone's help on these 2 issues:
i use logic audio for sequencing and the xl-7

1. when i change the track on the xl-7 in pattern mode, it stops 
sounding. logic is still playing the song and sending midi signal.  
how can i edit other tracks while all of them are playing.  the xl-7 
is in stop.

2. somehow, i have a sequence for a kick.  only the notes that have 
127 velocity play, others with less do not sound.  i still see the 
midi signal going into the xl-7, but no sound.

Make sure when you change the track, the Midi channel assignment on 
the XL-7 corresponds to your Logic.

Verify that the tracks that don't sound have Channels set to 
external or both.

thanks for your input.

but i still have the problem.  say track 1 has a kick instrument 
(preset).  it sounds as long as i stay in track 1.  now i would like 
to switch to track 2 to look for a snare or something.  when i switch 
to track 2 (in pattern mode and in song mode), track 1 stops 
sounding.  all this time logic is playing the song.  the midi light 
shows info going in, but no sound.  i am racking my head over this.  
and i know there is a solution.  i am just not finding it.  

any ideas?
