Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I have the MP7 with OS 1.01, I have an I-Book with USB, I have a 
USB cable, I installed E-Loader,  I have the OS ready on the 
desktop to be downloaded into the MP7: what now?

Once I launch E-Loader, it opens up this bullshit called OMS 
which, if I am correct, is an application made 10 years ago by a 
defunct company. What do I need it for? I have no midi interface 
whatsoever. I want to download using the provided USB ports. 
The E-Launcher asks me for input/output ports, and the only 
options that show up are: QS7 (a keyboard I had installed a year 
ago), Midisport 2x2 (likewise) and NONE. 
Where the fuck is my USB ports? And I turn on the MP7 holding 
Home, and it says LOOKING FOR OS, but nothing happens. 
What do I do now?

Sorry, but as far as I know the USB drivers have yet to be released 
and when they are you will still need  OS 1.18. Now you said that you 
have no midi interface and your I-book shows a midisport 2 by 2. If 
you no longer own a midisport could it be that the drivers are still 
installed on your machine? I am not a mac person but that is the 
first thing that comes to mind. As far as updating your OS I believe 
you will need to do it via midi at least till you have OS 1.18 and 
the USB drivers are out. Some one please correct me if I am wrong
