Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

i am having the following problem:

i have logic and xl-7
i would like to play on logic without starting play in the xl-7.  i 
just want to set up the tracks in logic and sequence from there 
without the xl-7 playing.

any insight is greatly appreciated.

I think you'd have to go to the options>settings>synchro>general ,then set
sync mode to intern
and synchro>Midi , then uncheck the transmitt midi clock.
