Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Thank you alex and eric for your hints about the assumed bug fixes,

Staurday is final decision time. I am considering taking back my mp-7 
for a RS7000 or the new triton Le.
How do they compare for composing (no live use)? Ease of use? 
Reliability? Sounds? ( I know about the sampling expansions)
 Gimme your two cents and I´ll pay you back sometime ;-)

Yes, ERic I´m seriously considering it.
I demoed the RS7000, found it very well organised but I do not 
understand people raving about its sound except some drumkits. The 
arranging concept is pretty interesting.
The triton le combinations were very polished sounds, I found, some 
bread and butter stuff (organ, brass, woodwind etc.) was way better 
on the triton le than on the mp-7 with the zr76-board (super piano 
though). In the drum section the triton lacks punch I think. Two 
arrangers are doing well. I dont know if those will keep you 
arranging and composing your own thing in a very special korg-style. 
I´m not to keen on pads, layers, synth stuff.
But the triton seems to be very easy to use and I didn´t find bugs so 
far!

The motif 6 could be an alternative soundwise. But I read posts 
saying its a pain in the butts to do your arranging, because its so 
complicated to handle.

Anybody knows about new sound expansion from emu? Or if the proteus 
2500 borad works with the mp-7?
