Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I  ionstaled the  pure  phatt rom, following instruction  in to  my 
xl-7,  however  when i  turned it on  i got  a  message  saying  
nothing  was  installed. what  happened? and what can i  do  to fix  
it?

some troubleshooting steps:

a) remove ROM completely, then replace.
b) move to another ROM slot.

also make sure if you don't have all ROM slots full, move all of the 
ROMs you do have so they are adjacent. it shouldn't matter, but you 
never really know with these things. :D

I  figured out  what it was ,  i  checked  it out and i found  out 
that  i put  the ROM in boackwards,  so  it works  now, (although is  
there any way you  can  get to  the  mp-7 presets  without having to 
turn through all of the user  and  xl-7  presets?

Sure, cursor over to the ROM name in the upper right corner and then 
scroll :)
