Don't quantize your beats, just get good at performing them with a good feel.

I think careful balance of reverb levels can goa long way to make your 
drums sounds more realistic.  I tend to prefer the "Perfect Room" or 
"Tiled Room" presets for drums, with the Snare getting set to 7% and the 
HH's getting set to around 6-7% as well.  Any percussion or toms can get 
up to 10% depending on your reverb settings.

The key is make the reverb sound like your drums are in an actual room, 
not washed with reverb as if they were in a cave.  Subtlety is key.

Or if you do quantize, make sure you use the swing settings too!  I like a 
quantize value of 57%, with an amount of 65.  Then use the Scale/Shift 
Start times function to slide your snare forward a tick or two.
