ROM selection with bank and program change ?

when i load my logic song the selected rom is different from the one i wrote it in... i have the programs selected and the banks but how do i set the rom ? there is USER / XL7 / PHATT ... luckily i found an environment for logic that lets me set the bank # with the program change but the ROM selection is baffling me... thanks
