Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

This is one of the truly great boxes ever created. I wonder if anyone can 
help with two problem areas I have that are probably glaringly simple to resolve 
and right under my nose.

1. How do you loop a song from the endpoint to the beginning?
2. Is it possible to record riffs into tracks? And is it possible to assign 
riffs to songs or patterns?

>>>Yeah, it's possible, but not easy.  The best/easiest way would be to 
record the riffs into another sequencer, and then transfer them into the 
XX-7 via e-loader.  Other wise you can try connecting the mIDI out to the 
MIDI in on the XX-7, but there are issues with that, and I can't remember 
that they are off the top of my head.  Let me ig into it some more... <<<
