Can anybody help with this?

Can anybody help with this?

2004-05-30 by madness

Ok, I am pretty new to the command station, so bear with me.

The issue I am having is that, since installing a new rom, the
command station won't recall the correct presets when I scroll to a
pattern. I go to a pattern, save certain presets on various tracks,
and then save the pattern. When I scroll to a different pattern and
come back, my presets change to the presets on the pattern I scrolled
from.

I know thats a clumsy explanation, so I hope its clear enough.
Thanks..

One thing to check: is Program Change enabled in MIDI menu? If not
you'll keep the same presets when you change patterns.

For program changes to work there has to be data recorded on the tracks. If
there is no data on the track you want a program change on, try recording a
small amount of controller data on one of the tracks, edit it so all you
have is one event, that won't affect anything (e.g. expression (cc11) value
127). Then copy this track to all the other empty tracks that you want to
have program changes on.

Thanks so much. This is the problem I am having indeed, and it is
very good information to know, so simple yet so important. Thanks a
ton...-

I'm having the exact same problem, have any of the replies so far
helped?
