Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

* i tried posting this earleir today, but it seems to have never made
it to the 
board. my apologies if this ends up posted twice. *

i would like to connect a 1/1 MIDIMAN Macintosh MIDI interface to my
PC 
laptop. i'm trying to find out if there's an adapter to make the
connection, and if 
the interface and PC will talk to each other.

the interface is a 1 in/1 out, with a serial 8 pin miniDIN output.
it's powered by 
this connection. the laptop is running XP, and has a USB port, a PS/2
port and 
the standard serial and parallel ports. 

is there an adapter out there that will work? and if so, will the PC
recognize 
the interface and the interface talk to the PC?

if anyone has any knowledge or ideas, i'd appreciate hearing them.
