Need quick help, gonna throw my MP7 to a wall! also problems with e-loader

2004-03-26 by r3gu

Shit, i just installed new ROMs and now my MP7 is freakin up.
if i save patterns, it does not save all the instruments as it has
this far.. actually, when i turn my MP7 off, it replaces the first 2
channels (1&2) with 111(0) prc:Kix 2/ MP7 ROM (channel 1) and 114(0)
prc:Snares 3/ User sounds (channel 2)

why does it do like this? it has messed my every pattern.

Also i'm havin problems with E-loader 1.1. i'm using Windows 2000 and
edirol um-1 usbmidi port, when i try to save my pattern, it tries to
save, but then informs that "saving of file "xx" failed"?
why this also?

NEED HELP FAST!

Maybe you should try connecting directly with usb for eloader. I had
problems with my midi-sport at first, but then it started working.
I'm not sure why, but as long as it works...
As for your problem with the presets:
Do you have data on those channels? CC or note info?
Try saving your global settings next time and see if that will
help things.

Ok, i'll have to find a bit longer usb-cable..

This gets even weirder.. first, i searched the right instruments for
1 of my patterns that have been messed for the 2 channels, saved that
and then saved global setup... after i put the mp7 back on, all the
patterns had replaced fisrt 2 channels with those instrumetns i just
put on fixed patterns... it's note info.

If you do not have notes or controller data on those tracks, that
behavior is normal. If not you may want to shout at Aaron the
resident expert!

I am willing to bet I know the problem, then. You have either an
Edirol or Roland controller with V-link enabled. Let me know if this
is right.
