I was wondering how other users achieve this. For example, I use a kit to build up a beat, then I want to apply different EQ and filters to the Kick, snare and hats. Is there a quicker way to do this without having to save each kit element as part of a new preset and cutting/pasting to a new tracks? Any advice appreciated! Ja

Well, a lot of the kits have the different main elements isolated on
individual layers. So my suggestion would be to dive into Preset edit
mode, and try applying the different filters only to certain layers in the
Preset. To be honest though, I typically find it much easier to just use
seperate elements on individual tracks, less confusion later on. Just my
opinion though.
