New OS feature ideas

New OS feature ideas

2004-03-13 by Leo Cavallo

hi list, Erik and Aaron

my most importat feature request for a new OS would be:
- being able to move through bars indipendently from playback, when in step
recording mode.

the chance to use the 16 knobs to change the pitch for every step of the
bar would be a nice addon too. back to analog sequencing days... it would
be great for drums programming too (where each note is related to a
different instrument in the drum kit)...

thanks

I'll add one more. If you're using the Track mute buttons as "note"
controllers, you should be able to use the Edit+track mute combo to go to
that channel directly, same as with the regular track mute mode. Damn,
that didn't make any sense did it....

Hi all !

I'm brand new to this newsgroup and very happy that I found a very
active XL-7 group. =)
I would like to have a song loop feature. Then I would be able to
build up a background track for live performance.
It also seems that you cannot route incoming MIDI signals to the
output ports A and B if you set MIDI IN to B. That's bad, because if
I want to use the factory patterns (which are set to MIDI A) and
play the XL-7 (and other gear through it which is synced to the XL-
7) with an external keyboard, I always play the XL-7 presets with
it. :(((

Greetings,

Ronald
