Digital Outs?

Digital Outs?

2002-01-16 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

I anyone using the digital outs on their Command Station? Do they work
ok? I tried using mine last night, but I got terrible static noise mixed
with a low signal for my efforts. In fact, it kept maxing out the input
meters on my Layla24 when it was connected and powered on. I checked that
it's set S/PDIF like my Layla24 is, still no luck. Ideas?

Works fine for me. I'm using a Mia which I guess is similar to your
Layla. I'm using the default settings on the Mia console (ver. 6.0
drivers).

Thanx, I think I may have figuerd it out. It seems that Windows resets
the basic sample rate in the Layla24 to 11kHz each time it you boot up. As
long as I play a regular 44.1Hz wav through it before turning on the XL-7,
it should work. I'll try this out tonight.
