I am a beginner indeed, I have been messing with a sp-303 and dr.202
drum machine for about a year, so I have some of the basics, I
decided to step it up a bit so I got the s3000xl, and have been
learning that for about two months, of course I need a sequencer to
go along with it so a week ago a got the mp7, from what I can tell it
is a very deep machine and it will take a while to learn and master,
so I am patient, I did get both of these items off of ebay, and now I
will look for mixer since that is a way to go.

fun as far as choosing gear goes.Firs of all, be patient and do a lot
of research. There are a lot of usefull articles on the web.If you are
on a budget, buy from ebay.Remember, cheap is not allways a way to go
as every mixer has its own sound and quality. You can use mp7 inputs
but it won't do you any good in the long run.
