SMF Dump

SMF Dump

2004-02-28 by Miles Sapp

the PX-7 manual says that patterns can be imported from a Standard MIDI File
dump but it doesn't say how to do it. Does anyone have experince doing a
SMF dump into the PX-7? Also, can patterns also be exported from the PX-7
via a SMF dump? Thanks!

That's how eLoader works. As far as I know, there really aren't any
programs that support the MIDI File Dump protocol (other than eLoader).
If there are, I'd love to hear about them...

PS. and yes, eLoader uploads and downloads songs and patterns.

True.

False. There's no pattern or song option in the MIDI dump menu.

True. All these other things, that is true, and is in fact the only
way to back them up.

A Sysex "dump all" option would be great for OS2.5, no? Or at least dump
"all user Presets".
