How much has the command station changed??

How much has the command station changed??

2004-02-18 by barginmusician

It has been awhile since i have posted here. I sold my command
station awhile back because it didnt suit all my needs. well now i am
reinterested in it. I am wondering if they did a couple of things to
the OS. One can you trigger your own melodies in the trigger section?
say in trigger mode can you access layer one in the pattern just by
hitting the trigger one. Real time phrase sequencing. And another
thing are the drum sounds still sectioned off into different banks.
closing off the ability to trigger them from another sorce working on
one midi channel. in other words the ability to create my own kits
from all of the drum sounds on one track. sorry if i lost the
terminology on the command staion its been awhile. i hope someone
here understands. thanks

Not in any ROM I've looked at. The drum KITS are complete sets that live
on one midi channel.
