is t possible to mute unmute other tracks while in grid mode or do i 
need to dwitch to realtime and back?

is it possible to mute/unmute single on the same track while 
recording?

No, but you don't need to go into realtime record.  Hit record once
while in grid edit.  Mute/unmute.  Hold play and press record.  That'll
get you out and back in without stopping.

I'm not quite sure I know what you mean.  Do you mean mute a single
*note*?  If so, no.

yeah...  i'm programing a circuit bent roland tr-505 and it'd be 
really nice to be able to mute notes...   i'll just stop being lazy 
and make more tracks instead
