How do I load Tim Conrardy patches in to my POP rom loaded Xl-7?

Is the POP rom the same thing as the Composer Rom? The patches will 
only work with the composer rom ( same as a P2000)

To load them you need an application that sends regular sysex files. 
( a sysex dumper) There are free ones on the net. Just google Sysex 
dumper...that should do it.

No.  Same instruments, different ROM ID.  All you have to do is change
the ROM ID byte in the sysex though.  Shouldn't take but 5 minutes.
