Is somebody working on one? Would be cool...

I'm having a look at it, as a pleasant Java programming tutorial, 
but I'm not sure of what I'll be able to achieve.

I had a look at it, too, and even downloaded the SysEx spec from E-
Mu's website. It shouldn't be too hard to add patch/bank support 
(full-featured editor will take much more work), but whenever I have 
a free moment, I prefer to play my MP-7, rather than write a patch 
manager for it! :g
