Do you mean graphic representations of the samples themselves like you would get if you recorded the sound in a sound editor like Sound Forge and took a screen shot? I can't imagine why anyone would want to spend the time doing that. I have imagined a performance space that has real-time graphic representations of the music being performed, but not static images. It sounds like you have a use for such images. It makes me what to know more. --Steve

Oh man, good idea, but it'll never work. The waveforms in the XX-7's are way moer complex than anything you'd find in Hydra/Junglist. No where near as deep either. rEalm because its a nice tool to copy a preset from a soft synth to the emu, some soft synth, like junglist let you see the waveform, and if we could see our waveforms we might transcribe patches we like thats why greetings turby _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8. Woah, glad to see the Synapse plugins have spread around enough for the folks here to be acquainted! Allow me to introduce myself - remember the "Rename the company and win Orion Platinum" contest? Synapse Audio was my entry :) /.e --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, erik_magrini@B... wrote: > Oh man, good idea, but it'll never work. Just the actual sound quality doesn't have the depth that Hydra/Junglist
has. Those are VA softsynths, and sound entirely different from a ROMpler
like the XX-7's. It's just a core fundamental difference in the sound
generating methods. It'd be like painting and apple orange. Yeah, it
sorta looks like an orange then, but not really.

Nice man! Yeah, I was a big fan of Junglist, and when Hydra came
out...whoa! Great synth, and super cheap too.

The Scorpion isn't half bad either - handy for background synths and effects. /.e --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, erik_magrini@B... wrote: > Nice man!
