Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hello all!

I just got an XL-7 and am learning it quite fast. However, I need to
slave it's patterns and songs from it's sequencer to my ProTools rig.
When I hit play/record on PT, the XL-7 starts playing, BUT it doesn't
sync to PT's metronome/midi clock. I have had no trouble controling
the tempo of my Ensoniq ZR-76 sequencer from PT, but for whatever
reason, the XL-7 is ignoring PT's tempo clock. Does anybody know what
I need to do? Thanks!

Check your manual, there is a tempo setting Perhaps in the 
controllers menu?) you can access. That is currently set at some 
tempo, if you use the cursors and highlight the tempo field and turn 
your data wheel left, you will see "ext" This slaves to ext midi 
clock.

Other related settings can be found there (and are explained in 
manual) such as what to do when a midi "start" is sent, etc...
