Buggers

- mp-7 runs (sometimes not) even if the tempo in the controller menu is set to ext., (is this a bug?) >>>Was it running originally before the tempo was set to EXT? I was getting some weirdness with this too when linked to my Micro Sync, even before I activated the Micro sync. Thought maybe I had accidentally pressed play on the MS without realizing it... <<< - midi data is received on the mp-7 (red light on) even if cakewalk as master stops >>>Not a bug, some gear sends out MIDI signals (sensing I think it's called) when not playing back. My CS2x does this too when connected to the XL-7. <<<<. - timing problems when mastering cakewalk from the mp7 >>>What problems? Out iof curiousity, why use the MP as the master? Your tempo would probably be tighter if Cakewalk was the master. Could be your MIDI interface too. I had a slight timing problems using the MIDI port on my Layla24, but when I swapped it to my girlfriend's MIDIsport 2x2, everything was fine. That's a hard one to nail down. <<< - incorrect detection of tempo when synced to cakewalk, tempo changes on the display, but the beat ist stable >>>I DEFINITELY get this one too when I set the XL-7 to sync to EXT (Micro Sync). The tempo the XL-7 is getting is rock solid, yet the tempo display is all over the place! <<< omissions: - no track/pattern delete function (only via cut to...) >>> Erase events works for tracks, not sure how you would implement the pattern one though. Similiar to my Initial Pattern suggestion sounds like. <<< - no replace-function when copying tracks over existing tracks (only merge) >>>Oh yeah! That would help save a lot of time! <<< Nice ones! rEalm
