Beat Garden has some wonderful shimmery pads Softer than the Xlead preset wise Course the possibilities if you program are endless TSCY is mainly bread and butter techno

I have the XL-ROM and the TSCY-ROM... I think either would do a fine job for pads, certainly if you are willing and able to program... but I also have to suggest the Vintage Collection ROM. it has some awesome stringpadatmospheres, and a wave selection for the basis of many more. if I could have only one ROM of those three in terms of the instruments it has, and its potential to create pads, I think I would go with the TSCY-ROM. cheers, aeon
