Writing and organizing.

Writing and organizing.

2001-09-06 by Sserendipity

This is my first foray into hardware sequencers, and I've been having trouble remembering which track does what in a each pattern...

I started out by putting a mixer strip above each of the track buttons (drums 1, drums 2, percussion, pad 1, synth 1 etc), so that I would remember which each was assigned to. However, this is rather limiting since it requires each pattern to have the same number of each kind of track. I'm thinking of making template cards for each pattern instead. (That mixer light is going to come in handy :>) Any better suggestions?

seems like your on the right track. i just have every pattern the
same. but I use alot of drums, so first 8 belong to drums/percussion
second 8 to synth. plus I use two MP-7's so I have 32 tracks. After
a while you just get use to it.....Kick, Snare, Hi Hat, Bongos ect..
