Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

HI All

Glad I found this group. I won a special MP7 on Ebay. The Mo-Phatt 
ROM was removed and the P2000 Composer ROM was installed along with 
the World Expedition ROM.Much better IMHO. Plus the deluxe Gig Bag, 
so I am set. I have already created some very cool sounds and the 
synthisis on this is very deep.

Came across a problem however. Is the Keyboard Pads suppose to output 
MIDI to an external module? I can't seem to get any MIDI OUT from it. 
Are there any settings I should be aware of ( in MIDI, Controller , 
or Global)?

Editors: There is the $70.00 Proteus editor, but I can't seem to get 
the demo to work. I think it's because of the MIDI OUT problem as it 
does not communicate. It would be great if EMU created an editor that 
exaxtly mirrors all the fuctions, and also makes it look like a 
softsynth. It would make editing much easier.What other editors are 
there?

Yes there is a midi transmit setting for key/note output and knob 
output. I am not sitting with my MP-7 to tell you exactly where, but 
I believe you can find it fairly quickly if you scroll through.
 Is this the editor you tried:

If not, you may want to give it a go. However, I don't know if any 
will work without sending and receiving midi. FYI The world roms are 
in high demand around here, good buy.
