I want to take a specific drum track and chop it up, somehow like can 
with my Modular(LUNA). with the modular i simply take any soundsource 
and pass it throught the modular which acts as a gate. then i can 
take a loop and using Attack Sustain and decay control the amount of 
source to be output. 

The Desired effect would sound like a quantizes chooper beat and 
could be usefull for Pads or strings.

Well the only way I can think of, would be to program your beat using the 
arpeggiator, and then assign one of the realtime control knobs to note 
length.  It's possible, but it would be a pain to program specific drum 
loops with an arp.  Like I said, possible but not easy...
