Saving Custom Sounds

Hello All: First let me mention that I am a MIDI virgin, and I own the MP7. I have seen some mixed reviews about the machine, some more extreme MIDI users than others, and I was hoping someone could offer some insight on my dilemma. I downloaded the Mo-Phatt Sounds to place on the MP7, and after realizing where they are going to go, I have to go through my current patterns and re-assign the sounds so that they are not using the "User" Bank duplicates of the MP7 Sounds. Is there a way that E-Loader sends the "User" Banks out for a backup? I have learned how to create a few sounds and I don't want to lose them by gaining the Mo-Phatt Sounds. Also, I typically recorded my own tracks in my studio, but that has recently changed due to a few immediate demands from Columbia Records with an artist I deal with. The problem I had in someone else's studio is that they use ADAT's and was tracking the instruments via some MIDI remote control. The MP7 would not latch well when it went from one pattern to the next. Is this something that will be rectified with the latest update? Due to my fear of losing 150 patterns, I have been skeptical of downloading ANYTHING, so any help would be greatly appreciated, and I do apologize for being so long-winded. MIDI is just awfully new to me, and I am coming from an ASR-10 background. The ability to save whatever to a floppy disk was great and the simplicity of accepting and sending a system excusive dump was even better. Can the MP7 data be dumped to a disk on the ASR-10? Thanks again, Detroit Red
