Flash Rom Creation

HI, i am new here, and i want to know if anybody has experienece with the creation of the flash simms using a emu sampler. id like to convert some of my favorite synths and kits from akai sample CDs and burn them on a flash rom. my cuestions are, is it a easy job to do this? and is it necesary to use original emu flash simms, or is there any possibility to make it in a cheeper way kind regards-happy new year turby
