Subject: Importing / Sequencing module or keyboard sounds
Hey everyone. I'm a veteran keyboard player but a novice with the
groovebox-type machines. Can anyone simplify for me the process of recording
sounds from my Korg Triton or N364 keyboards into the Xl-7's sequencer? I'm
sure that it's just a matter of MIDI channels, but I'm frustrated with
trying
to learn it myself (manual is no help in the controlling department). Once
I
get that right, can I make a song or pattern using a track combination of
external sounds and internal E-mu presets?
I know it might take a few minutes to type it, but any help is greatly
appreciated. Thanks!

powering down. It seems to occur when switching patterns, though I'm
not sure yet, since I don't notice them until I get to a quiet
section, though they seem to have happened earlier. Is there any way
to turn all the notes off with out cycling the power? This could be
pretty ugly in a live set.

Has anyone had problems with it locking up when using it with
external sequencer? I was fine tuning a track in logic with the MP`s
local control off and it slaved to Logic and had to reboot it three
times in the course of the session. Seemed to lock up while recieving
a lot of midi data, it would freeze with the recieve light on. Well
just curious if others are experiencing the same thing.
