Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi all
Thats wierd,
I checked after uploading them and they were DLable. Now its not even
possible to DL the animation or the anthems zips :(
I deleted the breakbeat file (probably the most relevant to xx7
users - and my recommendation ->dubjah )and replaced it and it dosent
work again!!!!
Infradead - did you have any success ?
It shows the file size.
I´m not to sure about the yahoo groups thing either ( not dissing
the xl7 group - its excellant).
If we could use a p2p you´d have them all, and
tons more,in minutes :/
My guess is its a prob with yahoo:

If this all gets to be too much trouble, and if the files aren't 
copywritten in some way that could come back to haunt me, I could 
probably dump them on my website, where their aint no stinking 
restrictions.

I dug around in the Yahoo group help thingy (top right) under files 
and found some statement basicaly saying they dont like copyrighted 
stuff being up and downloaded. Maybe there´s a yahoo user group user 
group somewhere where we could ask ;/ 

If copyright is the case then maybe theres some stuff in the files  I 
uploaded that they dont like (I suppose national anthems are "owned") 
(lol).There was also some Zappa ,Led Zep even Disney in there too for 
any plagiarists/remixers out there (lock ´em up and throw away the key 
;)

Now, i dont want to start a big paranodic political discussion about 
artists copyright laws and stuff (yawn)I was just trying to help 
dubjah get inspired to make some kicking breakbeat tunes ,right?
 
So as a last option i created another new group (laughs even louder) 
with just the breakbeat file which should be copyright free seeing as 
most of it was made on my old Atari ST.
Give it a try.

weird...

i can still download animations but not anthems...

wow...
really weird..

now it won't even let me DL animations...
30 seconds after it would let me..  interesting..

if it is a copyright thing they must have DL'd the zips and checked 
the contents..  that seems like a lot of work when you think of how 
many yahoo groups there are..

i DL the breakbeat file from midilifecrisis with no problems

i tried again..

it let me DL animations and but not anthems..
when i checked again about 30 seconds later it would not let me DL 
it weird..

I was able to downlosd the break beats a few hours ago. Another user 
had sent me an email sying he/she got a download limit error. I have 
contacted yahoo about this. I will let you all know what they have 
to say about it. I might be able to send them out as group mailers. 
I will look into it and see if there is a way the mailers can be 
requested not just at sign up or removal from the board. Let me know 
if anyone has more detail on how this works.
