TEMPO CHANGING

TEMPO CHANGING

2001-12-27 by boomtap

Quick question?

When I'm listening to all the patterns I created and they are
different tempo's, why does the tempo stay the same throughout all 5
patterns. It will not change to the correct speed. It keeps the tempo
of the first pattern. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please let
me know.. Thanxs

I have the same problem... I don`t know what to do. I think it´s a
bug. One bug of many bugs...

As far as I understand it this is not a bug at all. It is done so
sets stay the same tempo for live use. All you have to do is go into
the list editor and enter your tempo on the tempo track that is one
below chan 1.

that shouls solve your problem.

Peace

Thanks for answering Mike.
I`ve done what you said, but when I change the pattern manually and
the x-7 is playing the tempo doesn`t change. Only when the xl-7
doesn`t play the tempo changes correctly.

Dam that is wack. I have done one thing that i did not mention and
that is asigning the pitch strip to control tempo on track and I
have had that work for slowing and speeding up the tempo but it is
aquard and not as desired as having it in the list editor.

anyone elts find the touch strip a little anoying compaired to a weel?
or is it just me?
like it is good for jumping to a new pitch but when it coms to
actualy modulating the pitch i find it hard to make it musical.

That thrown in im out.
