Arp odity

2001-12-24 by mikexl7

I have a weird thing going on and I am not shur if it is just me
sompthing the XL is dooing. I am sequencing my E5000 with the XL.
When I use a arp on a chanel being sent to the E5000 the arp plays
fine when I am playig in the pattern but after I have recorded the
patten the arp no longer plays and the notes that I have played
become sticato (very short)not legato (long) like I originaly played
them.

I have the preset in channel that I am using set to the defalt one so
there is no sound to get in the way of the sound coming off the
sampler. And I am using the master Arp not the preset arp.

Anone have any ideas as to what I am missing here?

Peace mike

Hi

Try this 2 settings:

In Midi Menu:

1- Rechannelize Midi In >off
2 Transmitt midi clock >on
3Midi Mode >multi

In the Arp Menu:

Arp/Riff >midi out>transmit

Midi song start> resync arp&riff

Let me know irf it's worked.

Well kamy thanks for your time.

I tried it out and I am still having no luck. This is sooooo
anoying. I am had this working with no problem before and it
sertenaly was not hard.

I will also take the time here to reply to another message that talks
about loosing work done in saved patterns. This is just down right
scary. I have not had a problem with this as of yet but it better
get resolved whatever it is becouse a problem like that will drive me
back to the computer. Like what point is there in making patterns
that just dissapear?!

Pleas keep me and the rest of us posted.

Mike.
