XL1 vs. TSCY vs. BeatGarden

XL1 vs. TSCY vs. BeatGarden

I've got an MP7 and I'd like to complete my ROM set for
HipHop/R&B/Pop/Electronica styles of music. I'd like to buy the ROMs
that will offer me the most variety of sounds in one box.

So I've decided that Phatt + Vintage + World + one of the electronica
ROMs would be a pretty good setup for my kind of music. Can anyone
comment on the quality of XL1 vs. TSCY vs. BeatGarden? If you could
only have one electronica-type expansion, which one would it be? I've
been leaning towards BeatGarden because of its high quality drum
sounds, but i'd like to hear from some people that have tried all
three of them. Thanks...

I do triphop/idm/breaks/ambient/experimental and have the following.
An MP-7 with XL(makes for a great digital modular with the patch chords.
Vintage Pro - excellent melletron voices ,ep's ,rhodes ,claves ,basses ,leads and pads/strings/choirvoices and flutes.
Protean Drums - can't rave about this one enough. The industrial and lo-fi kits are an absolute gas.
Really really good drum sounds to be had.
Between those three and the MP-7 Rom I use an EII+ for other voices (I have a huge library).
TG-33 for FM ish stuff and PADS.
But I would at least suggest (for what it's worth) the Vintage Pro ,Protean Drums and Pop roms for your style/styles.

Well I've got and MP7, and vintage is already on my list. Two down.
Then I thought the world rom would really help add some unique sounds
to my music. Finally I thought either XL1 or TSCY or Beatgarden as my
last rom. Should I replace one of those with Protean drums? I figure
most drum sounds will be covered on other boards though. The
electronic i'm into is mostly ambient, or classic like tangerine
dream. I thought about getting the Pop card. But I used to have a
P2k and was hardly impressed with its sounds...
