Anticipating the shipment of my Drum ROM and want to get a head
start. Can anyone who has it, zip and post the patterns to the group?

Thanks,

M2

The rom comes with the newest emu support cd which has the PX-7
patterns.... The file is only 336kbs... I'd load them up anyway, but
don't know how. :(

I received my Protean drum ROM yesterday and tried to load the PX-7
patterns that came with it on my XL-7 using e-loader. They don't
work. The XL-7 cant assign the proper ROM/patterns to the tracks. It
seems to be the same problem than the one solved by Clint with the
PurePhatt ROM and the MP-7 patterns: Somebody will have to edit the
bank-select byte in each pattern I guess.

You need to try again Bro'... I did it already. With the CTRL A & I
trick its a breeze...

1) You get all the PX-7 files on the left side.

2)Click 'ctrl a' to highlight all the patterns

3)move then them to the right clicking 'Add files'.

4)Clcik 'ctrl a' again to highlight all the files.

5)Click 'Ctrl I' to chose you bank location and preset parting
point...

I hope it works man, some of the parterns I find rather usefull..

BTW nufleisch1, Sorry but I'm for the most part a computer
illiterate... :(

Patterns for the P2500 (Protean Pop Rom)

2003-10-23 by patrick a thomas

Does anyone know if there are patterns for the P2500, PK-6, or Protean Pop
Rom? If so, I would love to have it. I just loaded my new Pop Rom today
and wow the sounds are great. I wish it had a few more brass and woodwinds
but it will do nicely in the MP-7. Let me know guys – I hope everybody’s
cranking out the killer beatz!

In the files section of this group, there is a folder called Command
Station data. The 2500 file with the patterns is in there.

Didn't you get a CD with your ROM? It would have the OS updates as
well as all the patterns and songs for each of the new units.

NO! I did not get a CD with my rom it was just the Rom and the booklet with a listing of riffs, presets, and instruments. Should I check E-Mu on this?
