I was going to copy all patterns from bank0 to bank1 with SAVE/COPY.
So, I went into PATTERN mode, and copied bank 0 to bank1.
Ooops... big mistake. The 'COPY TO BANK' is for PRESETS, NOT 
PATTERNS.  Ouch.

your not the only one to have done that.
for the right solution to what you were trying to do 
check the thread i started here on Wed Sep 3, 2003 . 
Again rEalm came to the rescue.
