Ensoniq Collection ROM?

Ensoniq Collection ROM?

2003-09-16 by jayteejrs

Sup guys, noob here :)

Anyone have any experience with this ROM?

When I purchase the XL-7, I'm going to add the Techno/Beat Garden
ROM, plus 1 more...

Don't need any "Bread & Butter" stuff, will have Triton, Motif Rack,
K2600, etc.. to cover that ground...

What I need are more synth, percussion, world sounds and I hear the
material included on the Ensoniq ROM covers this territory...

Emu does not have any MP3 demos setup, so I need some feedback from
you guys, if any could be contributed...

Thanks for reading :)

if you are looking for world percussion sounds you want the "world
expedition rom"

Yeah, I've heard the World ROM, pretty good, but I'm told the Ensoniq
Collection is better... Too bad they aren't any MP3 demos, would love
to compare them actually...

I've asked about this ROM a couple of times and never got an answer.
I am beginning to wonder if anyone owns it. I do remember someone
posting here once that it is a must for doing hip hop. I have the
World ROM and like it very much. Compared to the Roland SRX World
ROM, the Emu has more percussion sounds, which is what I wanted. The
Roland had more string instruments.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to be popular, oh well, maybe I'll decide on
another ROM...

Regarding the Roland World board, I didn't particularly like that one
either, the Asia one was much better IMO...

Maybe I'll decide on getting the Protozoa or Sounds of the ZR ROM,
decisions, decisions :)
