Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,
i'm trying to buy an XL7 her in Italy and it's impossible!!!!
anyone tell me is out of production, but no problem to order an MP7 
from EMU....bullshit?!?!?
anyway, it's possible to have the same sound of XL7 using a ROM, and 
more important....it's too expensive??

I've just bought it at Sweetwater and paid it, with iva and taxes, almost 
1/3 of the italian price as i was told for it by my usual musical dealer.
