Presets and Patterns not saving!

I was working on a new pattern last night and I ran into an issue with the XL-7 not saving Patterns or Presets, even though it said it had! This was the first time I've used OS 1.18 while writing a track, but I don't know if that has anythign to do with it. Anyway, I was working on a Pattern and while doing so I created about 5 new Presets. Each time I saved the Presets individually before making the next one, and the Pattern was playing back fine. After working for a couple of hours, a friend stopped by so I made sure all the Presets were saved again, then saved the Pattern and powered off. When I powered back on later that night, my pattern wasn't sounding anything like it was when I powered off, in fact everything that I had done during my last session was gone! I could see it if I forgot to save the Pattern, or maybe one Preset, but I lost all 5 Presets (and all my new Pattern data), none of them were where I saved them (or anywhere in the USER Preset section, I checked thoroughly). Is this just me? Was I in the Twilight Zone or something? Has anyone else had this happen? I worked on it again and all was well when it was powered off that time, weird. Also, when I was spinning this weekend at a party, I brought the XL-7 out to throw into my set too. Occasionally, using the data wheel (when set to Tempo Edit mode) caused the tempo to increment in values of 100, not 1! Obviously this caused havoc with my sound, when my pattern would jump from 136 to 236 to 36 to 336 while I was trying to keep the XL synced to the tables. It didn't happen but a few times and behaved normally the rest of the time, but it was enough to keep from bringing it into the mix again after it did this a few times! Is there a button combination I missed in the manual that does this? I wasn't spinning the wheel fast, just incrementing it one click. I still think we need the tempo to be displayed in fractions of a whole number, no one needs a 1000BPM range..... Sigh, I hope my XL-7 isn't bad somehow, maybe I should reload the new OS again? rEalm
