my fav. part of the set is the fact that you transition between so many
different styles in such a smooth way.

>>>Thanks, that's one reason I call it "Transitions". I can't thank Aaron
and Sean enough for putting XMIX in this box, that feature alone is worth
the price of admission. Don't forget you can hold down EDIT while
selecting your next Pattern in order to keep the current Mute settings
when the pattern changes. Another VERY useful feature. <<<

And the way you have your sounds mixed and panned comes through
excellently over my monitors. Out of the whole
set, there was like 1 minute that I didn't like. Most PA's I hear I have
to skip like half the set, so great job!

>>>Thanks, the drums are all from the new Protean Drum ROM, and I use a
P2500 ROM a lot tooo. <<<

I think I am going to sit down with this thing and try to explore the
synth architecture, which seems pretty deep with all these virtual patch
cord modulation options and whatnot ;)

I have no idea what XMIX is, and I am definitely looking forward to
finding out :)

Thanks for the tip man! I will try that out later. It seems that
every time I think of a feature that I could use, the xl-7 has it. I
am sure that once I get to know it quite well I will figure out some
things to beg for in a new OS. ;)

I am going to pick up the Protean Drums and Beat Garden both. I
demoed Beat Garden at a friends house the other day on his xl-7, and
I was quite impressed by how usable (and horribly un-usable in some
cases) the sounds were.

I searched for this group, and nothing came up. Any more info on
it? It sounds great.

Open up the OS 2.0 addendum zip file and read about the feature in
there.
